Seasons ago, only moons after the first gathering of the five clans, another war threw the cats into turmoil. These fights were brought upon the clans by four individuals, Strayheart, Ventsoul, Spectorglow, and Goreclaw, because of their deep questioning of the Warrior code. After the final battle, the original clans reigned victorious. The four cats, along with their followers, were exiled.
After moons of search and starvation, the ragged cats stumbled upon The City of Eden, a stormy, gray town that had seen better days. A haze of pain had fallen upon the humans who resided there, their lives filled with nightmares and broken dreams. Soon after reaching the city walls, the group met up with the Relics of the Hidden Caverns.
An elite group that lead the underground, the Relics were unhappy that the newcomers had chosen Eden as their new home. After threatening them with death, the Relics were soon captivated by the exiled clan cat's intriguing stories. After listening, studying their ways of life, the Relics decided against killing the cats. Instead, they allowed/forced/recommended the cats to live alongside them in the city. However, in return, the clan cats were forced to live under the Relic's rule.To make matters worse, every two moons, the strongest kit of each clan was to be given to the Relics, to live under the caverns.
And so, Strayheart became leader of Strayclan, the clan that lies beneath the city skyscraper's shadows.
Ventsoul became the leader of Ventclan, hiding among the black trees in the shadowed forest.
Spectorglow became the leader of Spectorclan, resideing alongside the ghosts of Eden City Cemetary.
Goreclaw became leader of Goreclan, living beneath the city in the underground caverns of the subways.
